Camel Sailing and Powerboat Centre take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to administer your booking whilst you are attending a course or session with us. However, from time to time we would like to contact you with details of other courses / offers / competitions we have coming up. As we are an RYA training centre, for our Powerboat courses we must pass on your details to the RYA for certificate registration purposes. *

They may contact you via email, phone or text message confirming either you have undertaken the course or may be in touch regarding a survey of the training undertaken. We must pass on this information to the RYA else a certificate for powerboat courses cannot be issued.

Own boat tuition is provided on the following terms:

The vessel must be seaworthy and must comply with conditions required by the RYA
The vessel is insured by the owner for loss, damage and legal liability to third parties
The owner remains the skipper and legally responsible for the safe management of the vessel at all times (including when under instruction) and will not seek to hold the instructor responsible for any loss or damage)
The owner undertakes to secure the consent of the insurers to this agreement

Booking Undertaking

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT CAREFULLY. THE CENTRE’S ACCEPTANCE OF ANY BOOKING WILL ONLY BE DONE SUBJECT TO YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CONDITIONS.
You, the Customer, have had the terms and conditions of booking brought to your attention, including the terms of cancellation and you understand that:

• to hire a sailing boat you have the requisite qualifications RYA Adult level 2 or Youth stage 3
• refunds due to cancellation are in accordance with the terms and conditions of booking;
• you shall be liable to pay a ten per cent 10% admin fee if less than four (4) weeks’ notice of cancellation is given;
• you shall forfeit all of the deposit if four (4) weeks or less notice of cancellation is given;
• by making this booking you agree that you are:
• sufficiently proficient in water to undertake the course(s) in connection with your booking;
• physically fit to take part in any activity during the course(s) in connection with your booking;
• willing to comply with all safety regulations as required by CS&PC;
• aware that we have advised you to be in possession of adequate cancellation insurance against certain unavoidable cancellation.

• you accept that CS&PC is not liable whatsoever in respect of loss or damage to personal property not caused by the negligence of the CS&PC or its staff.
