Camel Sailing and Powerboat Centre deliver sailing and power boat tuition within the Camel Estuary, the sailing school in Rock has been established for over 30 years and by keeping in touch with the original idea of providing personal tuition on the Camel we have developed and continue to grow; however, we pride ourselves on providing that personal touch.
We offer the full range of RYA Power and Sailing courses on a one to one level or as group, we also offer the qualifications to work towards commercial certification for power boats up to 10m. The courses are delivered on the Camel Estuary, North Cornwall, which is a very challenging place to operate, the team of training staff at Rock have a vast knowledge of the area knowing where the best places are to work on the Camel.
Our sailing team for the 2018 season is more streamlined than previous years with the introduction of new kit for our youth tuition and courses, this is to enhance the experience and continue to deliver quality training, with the introduction of new equipment this should make the flow up though the RYA scheme far more streamlined.
Our power boat team has a huge amount of knowledge of the Camel Estuary and North Cornwall coast along with a vast amount of experience in operating open power boats around the UK and Europe, last year our team delivered around 200 successful powerboat courses.
