POWER BOAT LEVEL 1
Introduction to boating techniques for launching & recovery a boat from a road trailer everyday boat handling & the use of safety equipment.

POWER BOAT LEVEL 2
Provides the skills & background knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver & is the basic of the International Certificate of Competence. 90% of this course takes place on the water.

| SUGGESTED MINIMUM PRE-COURSE EXPERIENCE & AGE | None. May be preceded by Level 1. Age 14+. 14 year olds cannot have the certificate endorsed until reaching 16 years old. |

| COURSE CONTENT | All you need to know for self-sufficient powerboating at a basic level. Course includes launching, mooring, anchoring & recovery plus all the boat driving skills required for basic competence in a powerboat. |
| ABILITY AFTER COURSE | Self-sufficient powerboat in the right conditions, aware of own limitations & those craft. |
| MINIMUM DURATION | Two days. |
SAFETY BOAT
This two-day course provides the skill required when acting as an escort craft safety boat or coach boat for a fleet of dinghies, windsurfers or canoes or for racing or training activities. 90% of this course takes place on the water.

| COURSE CONTENT | Boat handling, rescue techniques for sailing dinghies, windsurfers & canoes, and tows. |
| ABILITY AFTER COURSE | Able to provide safety cover to a range of craft, particularly sailing or windsurfing. |
